Foa Hoka is a kaleidoscopic music project where abstract imagery, psychedelic experimentation & surreal poetry have found their place. Texts in new compositions are rather applications of unexpected meanings, feelings, characters & pure phonetics. These are original chains of dark & light associations, which are performed by different people in Ukrainian, English, Turkish & perfectly harmonize with the general electro-acoustic color of the album. In the summer of 2019, Dmytro Kurovsky met Chernihiv musician, electronic musician, DJ & producer Oleksandr Kozyr AKA Sasha Crime, The Crime, JustRock. Cooperation begins. In July 2019, the first track appears. The musicians are creating new material in their home Midi Free & Drill Bits studio. Work on the mix with sound engineer Andriy Moiseenko is being completed at HiGain Records. In the process of creating new compositions, a huge arsenal of analogue equipment is used. Work on the music material lasts almost a year. More & more musicians are involved: saxophonist Yuri Tarasov, Pitch Patrol project participant Anna Heller, artist & poetess Tanya Boguslavskaya, actress Olga Kurovska. In the spring of 2020, in the midst of covid19 quarantine, a video clip by Chernihiv director Viktor Onyschenko for the track "Ironic Distance" appears: youtu.be/HAUQ54sEqzk

Sasha Crime - ukrainian electronic producer, musician, DJ, winner of the remix contest from OMGITMTV, which was attended by hundreds of producers from around the world, releases on well-known record labels around the world (USA, Canada, France, Italy, England, Columbia), each release attracts the attention of bloggers, media, DJs, musicians & his music is heard on such platforms as Lollapalooza, Creamfields, Pitchfork, has collaborated with such stars as Bassnectar, Cyberpunkers, David Carretta, T. Raumschmiere, South Central The Hacker & many others. Has deep knowledge in the field of sound design, using an unconventional approach to sound processing, trying to make your own brand sound. In 2020, work on large projects begins, together with Anna Heller founded the electronic project Pitch Patrol & began collaborating with the ukrainian project Foa Hoka, after a long collaboration created an album involving interesting musicians and used more than 50 synthesizers, drum machines, processors, 3 studios for different functions, album was immediately signed to the Colombian electronic label Black Leather Records.
